Float Like a Butterfly and Gallop Like a Horse

Horses and butterflies might seem like a strange pairing, but each of them carries a message that we should try to apply to our lives. Float like a butterfly.

Picture a butterfly flying in a sunny meadow, really picture it, close your eyes for a second and picture it. Did it seem in a rush? Did it seem stressed? Was it flying with a purpose? Or was it floating? Did it seem to make any effort to move? Yet that butterfly didn't have any doubts about where it was going, it's getting there when it should and with peace of mind to spare. Sometimes we need to stop and act as a butterfly, things aren't as serious as we are seeing them, we need a minute in a sunny meadow, a moment to listen to a song we love, a moment of silence, to just be and float.

Gallop like a horse. Picture a horse galloping at full speed, really picture it, you can choose the location this time, a beach right by the sea, a grassy area, maybe even a rocky one; pick your favorite, and once more close your eyes and see it. Does the horse seem stressed? Does it seem doubtful? However, does it seem determined? Does it seem decided? Sometimes we need to act like a horse, once you make a decision, once you know your course of action you need to be like a galloping horse. Do what you need to do, take action, and let nothing deter you. When it's time to act, gallop like a horse.
